Home Based Study

You will study human behaviour in organizations and develop the skills needed to deal with people at work.  Course content includes individual behaviour, values, interpersonal relationships and communications, groups and team dynamics, organizational culture, leadership and change.  All topics are dealt with in the context of diverse formal organizations.

VIP/Fast Track, On site, one on one training to accurately setup farm financial records, record transactions, and generate, analyze, & use financial reports using AgExpert Analyst.

2 days (7hrs/day)

Training is customized to fit the participant's needs. Due to this personal customization, the length of training as well as the following agenda may vary slightly.

A checklist of information to gather & have prepared will be sent to the participant to Fast Track the installation & setup instructions.

Day 1 - Installation/Setup & Create a new data file in which to record the participants farm transactions. Record Current Capital Assets. Daily Transaction Entries. 

Day 2 - Continuation of Daily Transaction Entries, Bank Reconciliation, Generating a GST Report, basic instruction on Reviewing Financial Reports.

This cost includes a VIP Package of free training materials & software.

There will be a $70/hr (plus GST) charge for any additional training required.

Farmers with basic computer knowledge looking for user friendly tools & an opportunity to make more informed business decisions.

Participants will receive a certificate indicating completion of the course.

Training appointments will be set to fit into the participants schedule.

The participant will learn how to track their income, expenses, GST & inventory to generate financial reports to help manage their farm operations.

You will develop fundamental employability skills by studying the principles of communication.  Course content includes developing effective writing skills.  You will apply the principles and skills by writing letters and memorandums for routine and negative purposes.  You will develop teamwork employability skills and examine ways to apply communication skills to learn and cross-cultural situations.

Home Based Study

You will continue to develop effective business writing skills and employability skills.  The course focuses on writing business reports in informal and formal styles.  Your classroom study and experience will help prepare you for a business career by developing your presentation skills.

Home Based Study

You will become familiar with the role of finance and its implication for risk, income and control, credit conditions and a firm's state of liquidity.  Course content includes sources of capital and corporate borrowing, cost of capital theory and optimal capital structure and capital budget decision making.

Home Based Study

Your studies will focus on the field of commercial law.  You will examine in detail the concepts of contract law and how these concepts are influenced by various legislative acts and common law.  Particular attention will be focused on:  tort law, negotiable instruments, secured transactions, insurance, bailments, agency, real property law, employment, sale of goods and the various forms of business organizations.

Home Based Study

Your studies will focus on an overview of occupational health and safety systems as it relates to Human Resources responsibility.  You will examine societal and organizational aspects, core principles, essential elements, a variety of legislation, psychological hazards, probability and severity of risk, disability management, duty to accommodate and Saskatchewan Workers' Compensation Board.
