Agricultural - You will learn how to use pesticides for controlling agricultural pests such as weeds, insects and diseases. The course content includes on-farm seed treatment, bird and rodent control, and weed control in farm dugouts and shelterbelts. Industrial - Your studies will focus on herbicide use for controlling weeds in industrial areas (such as roadsides, power lines, rights of way, well sites, parking lots, roadbeds and equipment yards). The course content includes controlling designated noxious weeds on all lands and using herbicides for sewer root control.
