Students will acquire the knowledge, the abilities and attitudes that are required in maple syrup production. For example, they will learn how to manage the business, install and maintain the vacuum syrup-collecting network, and to tap the maple trees. They will also learn how to transform and condition the maple syrup, to find their way around in the forest, and establish links between the maple tree and its ecosystem. In addition, they will learn how to monitor the quality of their products, and to clean, sterilize, and maintain their equipment and infrastructure in good condition.
