Animal Production
The program aims to give students who have just finished high school knowledge and skills so that they are up to the task in the matter of plant and animal production and in the management of a farm business and being able to plan establishment in an existing farm. Learning of production techniques and management principles is done with a “hands on” approach. The complete program lasts 33 consecutive months and includes two 12-week training periods during the summers of the first and second years. Farms of the surrounding region offer opportunities to students to practice mechanics, animal husbandry and plant and soil management skills.
