Duration:

More than 2 months

Duration of the course is a two year program. During the program we offer 6 on-site farm visits as well as six 2-day meetings with other producers involved in the program (3 each year).

 

The sessions cover the following topics:

- Goals

- Problem Solving and decision making

- Effective meetings

- safety

- risk management

- lean fundamentals

- becoming a zealous business person

- financials

- technology systems

- life balance

- general office management

- conflict resolution

- basic hr

 

The location of the sessions depends on the participants as we try to allow participants to see each other's farms.

 

The sessions take place as follows:

 

Session 1 - March/April 2014

Session 2 - June/July 2014

Session 3 - November/December 2014

Session 4 - March/April 2015

Session 5 - June/July 2015

Session 6 - November/December 2015

 

Each time we start a new program the years will change but the general timeline will stay the same.

Cost:

$9,000 per year plus expenses


Year One
•Three Group Training Sessions - $9000 U.S. + expenses
•Participant is responsible for their own travel expenses to training locations. Each training session will take place at a different participant’s farm location.
•Three, one on one, on farm coaching visits
•Participant is responsible for the Executive Coaches travel and lodging expenses for these trips.
Year Two
•Three Group Training Sessions - $9000 U.S. + plus expenses
•Participant is responsible for their own travel expenses to training locations. Each training session will take place at a different participant’s farm location.
•Three, one on one, on farm coaching visits
•Participant is responsible for the Executive Coaches travel and lodging expenses for these trips.

Some is classroom style instruction but coaches are available via phone/webinar to answer questions at any time. Some takes place on the farm and farm tours are conducted.
