Subjects include breeding, genetics, physiology, ecology and production of field and horticultural crops such as cereals, corn, forages, oilseeds and pulses. Examples of research areas include: plant breeding, applications of plant biotechnology, understanding agricultural ecosystems and cytogenetic and molecular genetics.
