Don and Nancy Lidster have created DNL Farms Consulting Services in White Fox Saskatchewan to provide services for pig farm owners, managers and employees in the areas of training staff more efficiently and effectively. DNL Consulting have franchised training material developed by Pig Production Training (PPT) developed by Bernard Peet and Mick Evans of England. DNL Consulting offers both business management and production management courses. These courses are offered on a requested basis and usually per farm team. On the production management side, there are seven courses offered.PPT has developed a series of six one-day participative-type learning sessions for stock people that have at least six months experience. DNL Consulting is the Canadian affiliate that offers these classes, they are also offered in the USA, Europe, and UK.

This 56-week program is designed to introduce students to the history of aquaculture, to give them an overview of the state of the aquaculture industry today and to prepare them in all facets of this quickly developing industry. Due to the physical nature of the industry this training will require both theoretical and practical approaches. Upon completion students will have the necessary skills to become proficient aquaculture technicians with the opportunity to obtain long-term employment in one of the fastest growing industries in the province. Students will also have the ability to pursue and establish his or her own aquaculture operation.
