The John Deere Tech program is a 40-week, Ag Mechanics program, designed to upgrade the technical competence and professional level of the incoming dealership technician. The curriculum is designed by John Deere Limited, Canada and Fanshawe College. The program will lead to a John Deere Limited/Fanshawe College Certificate of Achievement and time credited towards apprenticeship training. The program involves attending classroom lectures and working in the shop on John Deere products at Fanshawe College, plus, a unique opportunity for students to work in a sponsoring John Deere dealership.
